Nothing in life is a sure thing. When your course takes a sudden, unexpected turn, you can either embrace it or fight it and be left behind.

**** NEWS FLASH – SPOILERS AHEAD ****

Team Flash is frantically trying to find a way to stabilize the Firestorm Matrix within Stein (Victor Garber) before it burns out his body. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is able to rearrange Wells stabilizer, which helps, but it’s just a temporary fix. They need to find someone with symptoms of the Firestorm Matrix gene mutation caused by exposure to the particle accelerator explosion, who can then merge with Stein and take over for Ronnie.

One never knows to what extreme we will go to protect our family, blood or otherwise, until we are put to the test.

*** NEWS FLASH – SPOILERS AHEAD ***

The Flash/Barry (Grant Gustin) and his team find themselves in a quandary, when Lisa Snart, AKA the Golden Glider (Peyton List), seeks them out to help find her brother Lenny/Captain Freeze (Wentworth Miller), who has been kidnapped. Needless to say, it’s hard for them to not believe this is nothing more than a trap. Why would a known felon and enemy of The Flash want anything more? After a little arm twisting, in the form of quilt, Lisa reminds Flash that he owes Lenny for saving his life.

In order to move “forward” we must first find a way to release the shackles of the past that are keeping us static, and for Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), AKA The Flash, these shackles could become his undoing. *Warning for spoilers ahead*

It’s been 6 months since the singularity almost destroyed Central City, and the events of that day have pushed Barry/Flash into flying solo, blaming himself for Eddie’s death and believing this is the best way to keep the people he cares about safe.

Team Flash has disbanded. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is working with the police as part of the newly formed Anti-Meta Task Force. Inventing a device he calls “The Boot,” which clamps onto the villains ankle, sending radiation through their body, thus short-circuiting them. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) has taken a job at Mercury Labs.
