I have done my best to keep this review spoiler-free and will tag any potential spoilers with **.

When Spider-man: Homecoming was announced a few years ago, I remember groaning. Did we really need another film about the webbed hero? After Spider-man 3 and the Amazing Spider-man films, I was a little Parkered out. And then Spidey swung into Captain America: Civil War last year, and I fell in love with Tom Holland’s wide-eyed and eager portrayal of Peter.

Did we need another Spider-man film? Yes, as it turns out, we really did.

Robert Downey, Jr. and his wife welcomed a new baby girl this week, and, well, it gives me an excuse to celebrate one of my favorite actors. Incidentally, RDJ is also one of the five people on the planet that I would legitimately fangirl over–swooning, high-pitched screaming, the whole nine yards.

So here are my top 5 RDJ films. Well, excluding Iron Man or any of the MCU franchise. Why? Well, because RDJ is Tony Stark, and that’s just an obvious choice, isn’t it? If you don’t love RDJ as Tony Stark, well…

So without any ado whatsoever…

Soapdish (1991)

This was my first RDJ film, and gosh, how I loved the skeezy David Seton Barnes. The film is a delightful spoof on daytime dramas (aka soap operas), and RDJ plays the producer of The Sun Also Sets, a fictional drama with an “aging” lead actress who doesn’t want to give up her time in the spotlight. As a recovered addict of Days of Our LivesSoapdish (and RDJ) appeared at a very appropriate time in my life, and really, RDJ in glasses. I was done for.

Unless you’ve gotten kicked off your wi-fi one too many times, beaten all your technology into pulp, and then tossed it into Mordor, you’ve probably seen one of the “Ice Bucket Challenge” videos.

For those who don’t know, the Ice Bucket Challenge supports the ALS Association, which is a nonprofit organization devoted to fighting Lou Gehrig’s disease. The premise of the challenge is this: donate money to the ALSA or get a bucket of ice water dumped on your head, and then you challenge 3 more people to do the same. Many celebrities have  taken this to heart, taking the ice bucket challenge as well as donating money to the organization.

So here are my 5 favorites. Some celebrities have gotten quite…creative.

1. Robert Downey, Jr.
