Halloween is coming, friends, and even though this is going to be a very different type of holiday than we are probably used to…we can still get spoopy!

To help you get in the Halloween mood, here are some of my favorite spoopy television series. It is by no means a comprehensive list—I watch too many shows to include them all—but here are my favs, in no particular order:

My favorite thing to do at conventions is wander the exhibition floor. It’s part swap-meet, mostly nerd-fest, and the geeky consumer’s shopping paradise. For conventions like Los Angeles Comic Con that take place close to Halloween, well, there’s more than a few vendors who bring the spoopy.

The magic of Halloween entangles adults as well as children and is the perfect excuse for a grown-up party. The only problem is that it’s difficult to find time to plan a costume. One day, it’s October 1 and you have all the time in the world. Next thing you know, it’s October 29 and you’re SOL—or are you? There is an endless array of cute costumes you can pull together at the last minute. Not only that, but you can take the DIY approach and dress up as one of your favorite movie characters, using clothing and accessories that you can continue wearing the remaining 364 days of the year.
