When Newt rescues a wounded jaguar, little does he know he’s carrying MACUSA’s own Percival Graves along in his case. Trapped in his animagus form, Percival just wants to get home and catch the guy that did this to him. By the time they reach New York, Newt has told his new jaguar familiar any number of secrets, and Percival Graves thinks he might be in love.
Unfortunately for him, Newt’s not going to react well to discovering his familiar’s true identity, and now Percival must find a way to convince him that he’s not just a sneaky bastard, and that dinner at eight really is a great idea.
“I gotta talk to you, buddy, real quick,” Poe says lowly, and grabs Finn’s hand to haul him back out of the mess hall. His pilot friends cheer loudly, Karé yelling something about keeping it decent, and Finn barely has a second to process it before Poe’s yanking him away and into a deserted side corridor.
“I can explain,” he says quickly, running his spare hand through his hair.
“Well good,” Finn snaps hotly, “Because I’ve had a really fucking weird day.”

Soooo, my plan for this edition of Fanfic Wednesday was to (finally) bring you all the fourth installment of my Destiel Greatest Hits series (you can find the first installments here, here, and here) but RL got in the way of my fanfic reading (bummer, I know), so INSTEAD, I’m going to share with you my ALL-TIME FAVORITE fics.
