During The Boys‘ season 2 Comic-Con At Home panel, it was announced by executive producer Seth Rogen that the series had an early pick-up for a third season, much to the delight of the show’s creator, Eric Kripke, and the show’s cast.
Perhaps I’m getting a little ahead of myself…but I was just so excited about a season 3 (to premiere…sometime in the future…WEAR YOUR MASKS SO WE CAN HAVE MORE OF THIS SHOW) that I had to share this news first.
Without further ado, let’s talk about the panel.
As fans who have been watching Amy Bruni hunt ghosts for nearly a decade, it was an absolute pleasure to see her on a SDCC panel! She, along with four other investigators of the paranormal, discussed the spookier things in the world, and…told us their scariest moments! Toward the end of the panel, the women paid homage to Lorraine Warren, the mother of all modern paranormal investigation, and the panelists introduced the following upcoming documentary…which we will be watching. In the middle of the day. With all the lights on. And a blanket to hide under.
Comic-Con International’s virtual gathering, aka Comic-Con@Home, is off to a bang with Preview Night. The digitally organized exhibit hall is live, panels and games have begun, and we here at the Collective are basking in the nerddom.
