It’s Pride month, and for me, that usually means I celebrate my identity with lots of rainbow, glitter, and mooning over Lena Headey in Imagine Me & You. Okay, maybe not the glitter, because it’s messy, but definitely rainbows and Lena Headey. In fact, it was movies like that one and Kissing Jessica Stein that helped me figure some things out. Of course, it took me a lot longer than that to figure out I was the B in LGBT. I will not speak for anyone else, but this is why representation is important to me: being able to see someone like me onscreen really pushed me toward learning about and accepting my sexuality.

So in support of pride, representation, and just some delish eye candy, here are a few characters known to enjoy the company of both men and women.

Eretria, The Shannara Chronicles

Eretria (Ivana Baquero) is a charming, rogue that seems to be destined to end up in the pages of a romance novel–either as feisty woman won over by a nobleman or as the dashing rake who rescues the princess in distress. Truth be told, I’d read both of those books, because I adore Eretria. And Ivana Baquero, who is the newest love of my life.

Sarah Manning, Orphan Black

I’m not sure I can say anything about Sarah Manning’s casual bisexual reveal that my beloved Jay Jaqobis hasn’t already said in their post last week about queer summer television. Although, I suppose I could add in a f**k yeah.

Clarke, The 100

the 100

My first experience with The 100 was at WonderCon 2016, which was, unfortunately, only a short while after Clarke’s (Eliza Taylor) female love interest, Lexa, met a tragic, and controversial, death. The controversy (and the Mutineer) piqued my interest in the show, and a Netflix binge will commence in 3, 2, 1…

Annalise Keating, HTGAWM

Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) is a compelling character not only because of her many, many secrets, but also because she is multi-faceted and fits no stereotype. So when it was revealed in the beginning of season 2 that her prior lover was none other than Famke Janssen? I swooned and then I cheered.

Ethan Chandler, Penny Dreadful

Okay, so we all kinda knew that Dorian Gray was gonna be bi or pansexual in the supernatural British series Penny Dreadful. More surprising (and delightful, let’s be honest) is that Ethan Chandler (Josh Hartnett), the hot cowboy werewolf, also plays for both teams. Let the gif above speak volumes about my interest in the show.

**Spoilers ahead for Supernatural**

Episode 11×23 AKA “The Darkness Is Here?”

Well, the hellatus is over and Darkness is unleashed on the Earth in the form of a woman. Sam has hair glorious enough to rival season 8; Dean has a weird not-quite-consensual relationship with the Big Bad; Castiel was possessed by Lucifer, and God came back from vacation. I’m guessing the Winchesters won’t be getting sunshine and puppies anytime soon…Warning there be spoilers ahead.
