I’m a romantic sap. My home vomits antiques, vinyl collections, and Chopin sheet music. Among bowing bookshelves, you’ll also find the writings of Jane Austen, Percy Bysshe Shelley, and John Keats. But Valentine’s Day used to make me feel ill, especially post break-ups that intensified Single-Awareness Day. To be honest, advertisements continue to irk me when the message suggests that love is, after all, monetary. My attitude has since had a radical transformation however, humbled by life’s Odin-force and arriving at the conclusion that if anything deserves celebration, it’s love.
We at the Collective invite you to celebrate love with us, by sharing your favorite “love scenes” (no, not the kind that show Kit Harington’s ass, although…).
