When I started this blog in 2013, it was with the purpose of writing about the things I enjoy with my friends, specifically fandoms and fandom culture.

This post, however, is not about fandom, or memes, or my newest celebrity crush (it’s totally Henry Cavill, by the way).

This blog post is about the most important thing happening this year in America: the 2020 election.

A few years ago, I started following an artist on Instagram because I instantly fell in love with her work. Over the past few years, I’ve followed her progress and notice that we share a love of SupernaturalOnce Upon A Time, and Carrie Fisher, among other things. I am ecstatic to introduce our followers to Elizabeth Hope and her artwork, and I hope you fall in love with her art the way that I have. –The Collectress

As fans who have been watching Amy Bruni hunt ghosts for nearly a decade, it was an absolute pleasure to see her on a SDCC panel! She, along with four other investigators of the paranormal, discussed the spookier things in the world, and…told us their scariest moments! Toward the end of the panel, the women paid homage to Lorraine Warren, the mother of all modern paranormal investigation, and the panelists introduced the following upcoming documentary…which we will be watching. In the middle of the day. With all the lights on. And a blanket to hide under.

The cast list was released last fall for the upcoming Netflix adaptation of the young adult fantasy series Shadow and Bone. The casting revealed Jessie Mei Li as Alina Starkov, and Ben Barnes as her manipulative antagonist and love interest General Kirigan, also known as the Darkling. Alina is meant to be around seventeen, while Ben Barnes is 38.
