ThatGeekOnline Shows Us How To Do Kick Ass Catwoman Makeup

Greetings, Collectors! This week we’re celebrating kick ass women in comics. Yesterday, the Collectiva Diva brought you some kick ass geek wear and today, the Expert in Geeky Aesthetics, Katie, has filmed a little how-to get the look for one kick ass Selina Kyle.

Now, if you’re unfamiliar with Catwoman, she comes from a rough background, working her way off the streets and becoming first an enemy of Batman, but later a protector for the rough neighborhoods of Gotham City.

What’s so kick ass about Selina Kyle? Well, she’s not a character written in black and white. She is villain and heroine, and she can kick ass while wearing a catsuit.

Seeing Red: A Scarlet Witch Makeup Tutorial

Elizabeth Olsen as the Scarlet Witch
Elizabeth Olsen as the Scarlet Witch

Avengers: Age of Ultron hit cinemas about a month ago, and we’re still obsessing over Elizabeth Olsen’s portrayal of Wanda Maximoff, aka The Scarlet Witch. Which, if you haven’t seen the film yet, go. Right now.

We’ll wait.

Now that you’re back, and I’m assuming if you came back to this article you’re loving the Scarlet Witch as much as we did (and oh my gosh can we talk about her scene at the end?). Convention season is upon us, and already at MCM Comic Con I saw plenty of Scarlet Witch cosplayers.

And as any good cosplayer knows, the look is made in the makeup. So, our beloved expert in geeky aesthetics, Katie (@thatgeekonline), has put together a simple makeup tutorial for all your cosplay needs. Or if you just really want to look like a bad ass.

Excited for SDCC this summer? So are we. Donate to our fundraiser and support our SDCC coverage.
