Comic-Con International’s virtual gathering, aka Comic-Con@Home, is off to a bang with Preview Night. The digitally organized exhibit hall is live, panels and games have begun, and we here at the Collective are basking in the nerddom.

Although conventions around the globe have been canceled and postponed, the world-famous Comic-Con International (AKA SDCC) is coming right to your living room this week from tomorrow, July 22, through Sunday, July 26. I love designing, I love creating, and I love collaborating with artists who share passions similar to mine. I’ve learned a lot about the community over the past few years, and I’ve learned that one of the most important relationships/connections that a cosplayer can foster is the one between photographer and cosplayer (you can read my post detailing the intricacies of this relationship here).
It’s the end of another year, and it’s also the end of some pretty big pop culture phenomenons. We here at the Collective have rounded up a few of our favorite things from 2019, just because we’re a little nostalgic and maybe not quite ready to move into 2020.
