The Road So Far

The boys are entering their final ride. An angry deity has emptied hell of all its souls, and the Winchesters are, once again, tasked with saving the world.  It’s the Winchesters’ final ride and this time, they’re up against God. MAJOR spoilers ahead for the midseason finale.

An angry deity has emptied hell of all its souls, and the Winchesters are, once again, tasked with saving the world.  It’s the Winchesters’ final ride and this time, they’re up against God. Spoilers ahead.  I know that I’m a bit tardy with this post, but just like every plan the Winchesters ever had, sometimes a demon jumps in and screws it all up. Anyway, without further ado, here are my thoughts on 15×07.

I grew up watching Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood. Many of you probably did the same. To many children growing up in the United States–and now, thanks to the internet, around the world–Mr. Rogers was a friend who taught us some very important life lessons. A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood seeks to show us that everyone–even us grown-ups–can benefit from the life lessons of Mr. Rogers in a world as divided as the one in which we currently live. Spoilers will be marked by **.

“ALL OF US, AT SOME TIME OR OTHER, NEED HELP. WHETHER WE’RE GIVING OR RECEIVING HELP, EACH ONE OF US HAS SOMETHING VALUABLE TO BRING TO THIS WORLD. THAT’S ONE OF THE THINGS THAT CONNECTS US AS NEIGHBORS—IN OUR OWN WAY, EACH ONE OF US IS A GIVER AND A RECEIVER.” -Fred Rogers

My favorite thing to do at conventions is wander the exhibition floor. It’s part swap-meet, mostly nerd-fest, and the geeky consumer’s shopping paradise. For conventions like Los Angeles Comic Con that take place close to Halloween, well, there’s more than a few vendors who bring the spoopy.

Well, after last week’s premiere episode for Supernatural‘s final season, expectations were high for the follow-up episode. I was not able to watch it the night it aired…but I sensed some mixed reactions in the online fandom to the episode over the past few days. Once I looked up the writers for the episode, I knew that it wouldn’t be great, so instead of a full recap, I’ve decided that my energy is better spent finding the appropriate gifs to fully convey my sarcasm in response to the episode’s plot points.

So, without further ado, here are my mostly-gif reactions to the second episode of this SPN season. #BewareOfSpoilers
