Season two of the smash Netflix hit The Witcher is set to premiere on December 17—but you don’t have to wait that long to start getting in the Geralt mood. The soundtrack’s lead single, “Power and Purpose” was recently released ahead of the show and you can listen to it here:

According to the official media release, “The full soundtrack album, due out Friday, December 17, features an original score by [Joseph] Trapanese as well as three additional vocal tracks performed by actor Joey Batey, who plays the role of Jaskier in the show and is the voice behind Season 1’s chart-topping, viral hit song “Toss A Coin To Your Witcher.” The soundtrack follows the massive success of the Season 1 Soundtrack, which has amassed nearly 300 million global album streams since its release.”

I don’t know about you, but my expectations for Jaskier’s songs this season are fairly high (I need another Viral Bard Bop in my life, okay). That being said, the whole season looks promising and we’ll be sharing our thoughts about it right here in just a few weeks. See you soon, Witcher fans!
