This morning brought good news for fans of the Grishaverse! The hit Netflix series Shadow and Bone, based on the novels by Leigh Bardugo, officially got the green light for a second season. The announcement was shared by the show’s cast in a joint video.

Jessie Mei Li, Ben Barnes, Amita Suman, Freddy Carter, and their fantastic costars will be returning, although we don’t yet have a date. There has been lots of speculation and clues that the new season has already been in development for a while now, but Netflix is keeping a tight lid on the details.
