The 100 has been one of my favorite TV shows for a long time—not just because it’s unafraid of exploring harsh realities (like the fact that humankind will likely be the downfall of planet Earth), but because it has some really amazing motivational moments. Whether it’s a true and affirming statement that makes me want to punch the air and shout “HELL YEAH” or a pull-on-my-heartstrings quote, this show’s got them in spades. Here are my top 5 inspirational quotes from The 100 to get you through the rest of this Monday.

Bellamy: “I say, screw fear. I’m telling my own damn story.”

Jasper: For all its faults, Earth is really beautiful.

Kane: Being a good leader means knowing which battles to fight.

Lexa: You were right, Clarke. Life is about more than just surviving.

Clarke: You say having feelings makes me weak, but you’re weak for hiding from them.

The 100 returns for its 7th and final season in 2020.
