“White lies” by keinekatze132
Pairing: Aziraphale/Crowley (Good Omens)
Word Count: 2,474
Author’s Summary:
Crowley lies about his ability to feel love to make himself look more demonic. A few hundred years later he gets really offended when Aziraphale suggests, that Crowley isn’t capable of love.
My Thoughts:
I cannot wait for the premiere of Good Omens on Friday. With all of the chaos going on in the world, the idea of an apocalypse happening at the hands of an 11-year-old boy sounds about right. Plus, seeing Michael Sheen and David Tennant as Aziraphale and Crowley respectively makes me squee in delight.
Good Omens is one of my favorite books. An absurd look at human nature thru the eyes of supernatural beings, crazed witch hunters, prophesies, children playing Spanish Inquisition… the book has it all. Not to mention an angel and a devil who are made to be shipped. So, I had to rec a fluff-filled Aziraphale/Crowley fic this week in preparation for the show’s premiere.
Crowley attempting to appear tough while secretly pining for his angel bestie. Aziraphale geeking out over a tween fantasy romance (which sounds like it would be an awesome read if it were real). It just makes me love the two characters even more.
If you haven’t read the book yet, I would avoid this one. It does spoil some of the ending. Also, expect more Aziraphale/Crowley shipping once the series premieres from all of us here at The Collective.
