#motivationmonday: Seeing the stars with Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today we remember Martin Luther King, Jr., the man who helped encourage and create change in America during the Civil Rights Movement. There’s not a lot I can say that you don’t already know, but I want to share my favorite MLK quotes with you. Today, may you find motivation in the undying words of the activist who continues to inspire us nearly six decades later; may you find greatness within yourself; may you always see the stars he saw.

“Only when it is dark enough can you see the stars.”

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”

“Intelligence plus character—that is the goal of true education.”

“Forgiveness is not an occasional act; it is a constant attitude.”

“We must live together as brothers or perish together as fools.”

“We must accept finite disappointment but never lose infinite hope.”

“You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
