They say there are ghosts at the ice rink.
It might not be October yet, but that doesn’t mean I’m not excited for Halloween season. And with Halloween come ghost stories, be they scary or not. I’ve also been on a Vikturi kick lately, so I was pleased to find this short and sweet story about our favorite skaters. 80 years in the future, Yuuri and Viktor have passed on—but their memories have a hold on the ice rink, where new young skaters witness their impressions.
This ficlet isn’t even 5000 words long, but it has stuck with me. Give it a go if you’re in the Halloween mood, or just to enjoy some nostalgic Vikturi.
