Her Universe has been a staple of The Collective’s San Diego Comic Con experience since our very first outing in 2015. Each summer, we eagerly await the creative and empowering designs and models we will see on the runway—and this year was no disappointment. In case you missed it, here are the highlights (and fabulous winners) of the 2018 Her Universe Fashion Show!

New Line

Destination Disney recently hit stores, and the designs by the 2017 winners were highlighted at the beginning of the show. The line centers around Rapunzel, Tiana, Mulan, Moana, Ariel, and Jasmine. And this year, they didn’t just create geek couture clothing, but matching accessories! Check out Destination Disney online or at Hot Topic.

Thirteenth Doctor

Of course, the internet couldn’t stop buzzing about the best surprise in the universe—Jodie Whittaker, the thirteenth incarnation of the Doctor, crashed the fashion show and WE LOVE ONE WOMAN. We’ve already written about this amazing moment, so be sure to check it out!

It’s rare for the designs that I favor to actually win, so I was pleased as punch that three of my four faves made it to the very top! We can’t wait to see what amazing new things will come from the minds of these fantastic designers.
