A couple of weeks after the season finale, I’m still obsessing over the ending of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and how it could have tied into the ending of Infinity War. And like all other AoS fans, I also fixate over the idea of the characters in the show I love being included in the movies (which will never happen).
Thank god for fanfiction. While the TV and movie world of the MCU will remain separate, the rest of us can fill in the gaps of how it could be.
This two-chapter short picks up a few days after the events in Wakanda and Chicago sees the reunion of Phil Coulson (fates of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who went to find Fitz are unknown at this time) and the remaining Avengers. For Philinda fans, it finds a believable way to bring Coulson back from the brink of death and continue the romance we have all wanted since season one. While it stops short of any real action, this serves (hopefully) as a beginning of a bigger story.
