I remember leaving the theater with a feeling of deep-gut restlessness after watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens, specifically Rey’s character arc. Her transition from frightened and uncertain, to confident and courageous paralleled the journeys of [many] women I knew. Like Rey, their tireless quests led to self-discovery—claiming their undiscovered power. They wielded this power to free themselves from unhealthy relationships, drug abuse, self-doubt, among countless other challenges heroines overcome.

Today, may you be reminded of The Force at work in your own life, may its light guide you to victory again-and-again, however small or great those victories are. And, of course, now and forevermore…
