Summary

Okay, first of all, this is a wishbabies fic, which, if that’s not your thing, turn the corner friend, here be baby domesticity. Secondly, I don’t usually read WIPs, but I subscribe to thehoyden, co-author of the first hockey RPF I recced here–ANBK–and I get their updates on my mailbox. After a few weeks of getting notifications for this fic, my curiosity got the best of me and I read the 6 finished chapters in one go. Luckily, thehoyden updates on Wednesdays, so the last chapter should be coming soon. This fic finds us with early Will and Hannibal, who are enamored with each other and learning about their own love and limits. I admire the way theyhoyden sets the scene for these two, giving their relationship a well-timed burn before it sinks into the domestic bliss that is protective chef Hannibal doting over fragile Will with a side of the Chesapeake Ripper storyline. Toss in a wishbaby, lots of kitchen/cooking scenes with the typical Hannibal gore, and enjoy this fic under a warm blanket by the fire this American Thanksgiving.
