A Little Bit of Good

I don’t know what to write today.

It seems trite, or maybe inconsequential, to talk about my latest binge-watch. It seems, I don’t know, misplaced to talk about entertainment or fandom the morning after almost 600 people were shot by a lunatic. It seems shallow to rant or rave about new television series when the people of Puerto Rico are without electricity, clean water, or food, and the people of Mexico are still sorting through rubble after two devastating earthquakes.

So, no, I don’t know what to write. I don’t know what I can express to our readers that can cover all the conflicting emotions that I feel about our current world: the anger, the disappointment, the heartbreak. Instead, I’m going to encourage you, every last one of you who clicks on this link or has this delivered to your email inbox, to do something compassionate today. If you can donate blood or money, do it. If not, remember that compassion can take many forms, and that sharing this information with others is still helpful.

I’m including information below for anyone interested in helping victims of the Las Vegas shooting, Hurricane Maria, or the Mexico earthquakes.

Get kind. And don’t back down. No matter what crazy sh*t happens.
