Geek Chic: Diva’s Top 5 Pumpkin Picks

written by C. Diva

My daughter informs me that today is the first day of Fall. She also is freaked out that the world is going to end tomorrow, which I refuse to believe since I haven’t seen Black Panther yet. To distract her from imminent doom, I took her to get pumpkin iced coffee this morning, and just like that, it’s Autumn! Here are my favorite pumpkin treats that help me pretend that California actually has seasons. Enjoy!

Libby’s Pumpkin Bread

Every holiday season, I grab a couple of the easy bake Libby’s bread mixes at my local grocery store. They box is less than $5, and everything you need to bake this pumpkin treat is inside. I haven’t tried to mix in fresh cranberries, but the recipe looks fairly easy and I do love the tangy taste of these two fall faves coming together on my taste buds. Count me in!

Dunkin’ Donuts Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee

I’m fairly new to DD, but from what I can tell, every drink they create is delicious and they have a pretty expansive pumpkin menu come Fall. I’m not a big fan of their actual donuts (gasp!), but I love their iced coffee and am, in fact, sipping this beaut right now. The pumpkin iced coffee is sweet and goes perfectly with a warm pastry of your choosing.

Brach’s Pumpkin Candy Corn

I know candy corn isn’t for everyone, but I don’t care. I love it. I also am a sucker for novelty shaped foods, so these little pumpkins are a Fall staple in the candy dish on my desk at work. Good luck trying to get a handful from me, though!

Bath and Body Works Pumpkin Pecan Waffle 3-Wick Candle

Look. I never said my pumpkin obsession was healthy. I love this candle, I love the idea of pumpkin pecan waffles and I love that the B&BW candles last for 30-45 hours. This one will end up on my bookshelf at work because the hubs cannot deal with the sweet, cloying smell of pumpkin in the house for too long.
