What happens when you throw comedy into a futuristic space drama? Yes, Galaxy Quest is a good answer, but I’m talking about The Orville. At first, I’ll admit, I wasn’t super on board because I’m not a huge Seth MacFarlane fan. However, I was completely sold by the trailer, and here’s why: The Orville is a farcical intergalactic journey inspired by The Twilight Zone and Star Trek. Add a dash of Deadpool-like humor, and…well, see for yourself.

I, for one, am intrigued to see how this will perform next to Star Trek: Discovery. September will be a good month for Trekkies!
