Earpers, rejoice: it was announced today at SDCC 2017 that Wynonna Earp will return for a third season, set to premiere in 2018!

The panel was emotional, and as always, the creators and cast showed just how dedicated they are to their fans. In fact, I’d say that my number 1 reason for tuning into WE is because Emily Andras takes such care to craft a show that is well-executed and full of love for its fans. On top of that, Andras has created a show that does things that other shows usually are unwilling to do. I know that’s vague, but I’m wary of spoilers. If you’re caught up on season 2, listen to it in Andras’ own words:

Wynonna Earp is a show about a strong, badass woman who is also emotional and vulnerable and yeah, a little messed up too (read: she’s a real woman). I’m so thankful to Emily Andras, Melanie Scrofano, and the rest of the WE team for giving us a show that demonstrates beautiful complexities of humanity while giving us that dose of ass-kicking we like to see in our supernatural thriller tv shows.
