My Thoughts
If you’re a fan of hockey, you’ve probably seen the movie Goon (2011), if you haven’t, go on Netflix and watch that shit. NOW! This short fic takes place after the film, and explores the very intense relationship that our two favorite Halifax Highlanders share on and off the ice. My favorite thing about this story is that it is set in Xavier’s POV, which we don’t get in the film at all. It’s sweet and sad and eventually, so incredibly hot that you will be dying for the sequel of the film to come out, just so you can enjoy these two back on screen together again at last.
