Seven years out from the war, Harry learns the hard truth of old history: it’s never quite as far behind you as you thought.
My Thoughts
Drarry was my first slash ship, and about once a year I trek back into my old fandom and don’t come out for…well…about six weeks.
This is the fic that reminded me that I still live in the Drarry trashcan. I’ve recced multiple of gyzym‘s fics on our blog, but I think this may be the first time I’ve stayed up all night to read a 100K+ fic from this author.
I think what I love most about this author’s fics is that, no matter the fandom, the story always complements and adds to canon in a way that is almost magical. Well, in this story, it really is magical. The inclusion of the magical essence of wizarding homes really complements what we know about Rowling’s wizarding world, and provides a nice base for the plot of this fic.
I don’t want to say to much about this fic, lest I ruin the plot, but let me just say that it has a lot of Harry cooking for Draco, and it just melts me.
Read if you appreciate a good Drarry fic.
