My Thoughts

So, being fairly new to the YoI fandom, I asked my tweeps for some Viktuuri fic recs, and a kind soul (I am so sorry I don’t remember who!) directed to me to this lovely 100K+ word fic. Since the fandom is so new, it’s a treasure to find such a long fic that is also so carefully thought out, and also has so much smut. I really appreciate the author’s carefully crafted explanation of this ABO society: those that omegas share a heat with are required to sign a contract, and everything must be negotiated beforehand. So, the things that get a little squicky to me in ABO fics, namely issues of consent, are pretty much avoided because of this thoughtful exposition.

Lastly, without revealing too many spoilers, this is a WIP that has 19 chapters, smutty smut smut, and Yuri’s heat hasn’t even begun yet. That’s right: the best is yet to come (pun intended).
