Cosplay and Culture at Long Beach Comic Con 2016

The Collective Bloggers attended Long Beach Comic Con 2016 this last weekend, and were stunned by the sheer amount of creative cosplayers. As always, we snapped pictures as often as possible to share our experience with you. Cosplay is more than just dressing up—it’s about embodiment, ingenuity, and a connection with others who love the same things you do.

This post features work by cosplayers such as Loki Hates YouShana Mostella, ImagineAthan, My Captain Jack, wbslnger2004, ariel_amora, and more! If you see yourself in this gallery, feel free to comment or contact us on Twitter so that we can give your hard costuming work credit. I’m also happy to send you the original photo via email. Be sure to follow us for more cosplay adventures!

To see the cosplays worn and constructed by the Collectress and yours truly, check out our Instagrams.

Until next time,

The Collected Mutineer/Exhausted Photographer
