The fans knew it was coming, but the panel at SDCC 2016 confirmed it–Season 5 will be the last one for the BBC America drama, Orphan Black, and Clone Club is not happy about it. Still, fans understand that it is better for writers to pen a series finale purposefully than to have a network cancel the show because fans have lost interest, but that doesn’t make the upcoming ending any easier. On the farewell panel, we got to see Tatiana Maslany (who plays the adult female clones in Orphan Black), Jordan Gavaris (Felix), Kristian Bruun (Donnie Hendrix), and Kevin Hanchard (Detective Arthur Bell). Also on the Comic-Con panel were Orphan Black co-creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson.

While we didn’t get any spoilers (except to say that the season will be full of “answers”), we did get a special announcement about an upcoming contest that will allow one lucky fan a walk-on role during season 5. The contest rules are not available yet, but will be up on the official Orphan Black website soon. Cast and crew also shared the season 4 gag reel, which highlights the wonderful sense of humor permeating this group of actors.

If you needed more evidence as to how great Tatiana Maslany is at her job, check out the  hilarious video below. Tatiana is challenged by panel moderator, Comedy Bang! Bang! host Scott Aukerman, to work a little improv magic on stage using the different sestra personas, and, along with her cast mates, she performs to perfection. Check it out and let me know what you think in the comments below.
