At WonderCon 2016, Ashley Eckstein, along with Hot Topic, presented the new Her Universe fashion collection inspired by  Star Wars: The Force Awakens and it was fabulous. The stunning new line was created by the winning designers of the 2015 Her Universe Fashion Show at San Diego Comic-Con, Kelly Cercone and Leetal Platt and will be available in sizes S-4x (and isn’t that awesome!?). The clothing company also announced an open call for fashion designers interested in participating in the upcoming 2016 Her Universe Fashion Show (at SDCC 2016 and yes, we will be there to cover it for you) to be held this weekend at Hollywood and Highland in Los Angeles, California.

The open call, to be held on Saturday, April 23 at 1pm at the Hot Topic Store at Hollywood and Highland, is free for designers who want to submit designs in person to a panel of judges to be considered for the 2016 Fashion Show. The open call will be filmed for the new Comic-Con HQ channel and the upcoming reality series about the Her Universe Fashion Show. Also available will be a sneak peek SWFA line, which will be released to the general public in the upcoming months, so if you like having the newest fashions before everyone else or are a designer interested in geeky gear, check out H&H and do you, boo!

For more information about submitting visit HerUniverse.com and fill out the registration paperwork beforehand.
