The Her Universe Fashion Show strutted across the runway on Thursday evening, the first night of San Diego Comic Con 2015, and boy, did the nerds come out. Owner and Creator, Ashley Eckstein hosted the 2nd annual event to over at the Manchester Hyatt San Diego, with geek couture outfits created by designers competing for this year’s prize, a complete line of their own clothes at Hot Topic. The outfits varied from a gorgeous Doctor Who fur coat and TARDIS dress to the full-figured Lady of the Wall/Game of Thrones ballgown below.
I wanted to weep with joy at the variety of female bodies represented on the runway. From the adorable Peggy Carter t-shirt to the Star Wars light saber skirt available on the Her Universe website now, this line represents all shapes and sizes. This means the Collectress and I can get matching Peggy Carter shirts!
