Geek Chic: Office Art

Mother’s Day is in less than a week, which means you’ve still got time to express order some of this adorkable geek chic office art for Mom (or yourself). For the classy nerd, fandom art needs to be suitable for work yet still shows off one’s geeky side, but don’t worry, I’ve done the leg work for you.

Click the links below for access to some of the coolest art this side of fandom and check out my previous post, Fandom at the Office, for more geek chic goodies.

When I said art work, I wasn’t kidding. This Game of Thrones inspired piece includes House symbols and is perfect for a fan with simple tastes. The image below is the framed, large version, but there are numerous options ranging in size and price from $34+.

The first 200 episode titles for Supernatural by clockworkrobots

laser printed on heavy card stock (13″x19″)

I want this, someone link my kid to this post, please. Thanks, Nonny.

Every single title of the first 200 episodes of Supernatural. This is a gift to fandom and a unique print that will be sure to have keep you occupied during boring meetings at the office.

Star Wars Starships and Fighters Clock by YOUgNeek

Metal clock with 12 vintage classic Action Fleet Micro Machine battleships and vessels hand painted to look like metal and match the clock (13 1/4″ diameter)

The Force is with this office piece, that shows off Mom’s nerdy side in a subtle and classy way. The vendor also has a Star Trek version, for all of you with Trekkie moms (*raises hand*).

Winter Soldier Propaganda Poster by Barbicane

High quality scanned, print of an original illustration on cardstock (8.5″x11″)

I have this piece in my office, framed and looking mighty fine. This vendor has some lovely and very comic book-esque Marvel prints, but this Winter Soldier image is my absolute favorite. The size offered is 8×11, but there you can also request a larger piece for an extra cost. At the price, it is definitely worth it.

Star Trek Badge Light Switch Plate Cover by PhotosByBen

Includes standard plastic cover plate sealed with a nontoxic sealer for protection.

I’m nerding out on this one! Anyone who has this on their office light switch is automatically cooler that you are. The vendor has a number of designs, my second favorite being the “light side/dark side” Star Wars cover.

Consulting Detective Inspired 3-Print Series Part 3 by The Geekerie

Quality photo paper stock, professional-grade ink-jet printers with Giclée quality pigment inks (“26x”24)

$125  ( (different sizes/prints/prices available)

If you aren’t familiar with the Geekerie, this artist creates minimalistic images across the fandoms. The Sherlock S3 set is one of my favorites, but the vendor has a good variety of fandoms available. Check out the store for various prints/sizes/pricing.

Team Free Will Pillow Covers by UnicornEmpirePrints

Hand sewn, printed using hand-pulled silk screening (16″x”16 cover, pillow not included)

First of all, if you have a couch in your office, I’m jealous. Second, you need these cushion covers, provided you bring your own pillows. The fun and unique look of the art from Unicorn Empire is a perfect fit for Team Free Will, and if pillows aren’t your thing, there are prints, tees and lots more in this vendor’s shop.
