Welcome back, class, to Shipping 101. Today we are going to talk about BrOTPs.

According to Urban Dictionary, a BrOTP refers to a set of friends destined to be besties forever.

So, I finally saw Winter Soldier.

For all you nonshippers out there, shipping a pair doesn’t always have to mean we want to see them kiss or hide behind a bush as they do dirty things to one another (that’s me with Destiel).  

Now, Natasha Romanoff is no “bro”, but I definitely think these two have a very special friendship, made better by their different personalities and strengthened by shared experiences.

In all honesty, I haven’t always been a Marvel girl, so I should admit right now that I haven’t read the comics, don’t know anything about the story except what I’ve seen in the films and I really am not sure about this whole “they have a kid together thing” (oops, spoilers). Is that even a real thing? That being said, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson are bloody adorable and I cannot get enough of them. Here. Let me show you.

Kinda like The Collectress and I, which is why, when we go to WonderCon 2014 in Anaheim, California tomorrow, she’s dressing as Black Widow and I will be lady Captain America. And it will be epic.
