Spoilers ahead, Sweetie!

The rumour mill is churning, folks, and I recently read around the interwebs that the adorable 7th Doctor, Sylvester McCoy, let slip the maybe-news of the Master’s return in series 8 while at the recent Newcastle Film and Comic Con. The role would not be played by Jon Simms, which does not make me happy at all, but instead may be recast with a new(ly regenerated?) face of the Doctor’s former enemy. Some of the names in the hat belong to Richard Armitage, Charles Dance and Steve John Shepherd. There has been no confirmation from Moffat or the BBC that the character will be reprised or that any of these bearded British beauties will take on the role, but it is nice to dream, isn’t it?
