I know I’m a bit late to the party, but as I’m sure you realize, I am in a lot of fandoms. This week, I’ve been quite under the weather and with nothing to do but explore Netflix and sleep, I started in on my next television show obsession, Arrow. I’ve been wanting to watch this show ever since I saw this pic:

And then there is this one, posted only last week on Twitter when Jared and Stephen went to a Pearl Jam concert together. Where’s my invite, boys??

SWOON. My ovaries have officially exploded.

Besides Stephen Amell being ridiculously gorgeous and having wonderful taste in friends, his show, Arrow, has got me hooked. I started it 4 days ago and am halfway through season 1, with no desire to watch anything else until I catch up. So far, there have been guest appearances by Ty Olsson, Tahmoh Penikett and Janina Gavankar, plus a few episodes helmed by Guy Norman Bee, one of my favorite Supernatural directors. That being said, the show is quite well written and, although I am not a huge fan of the Green Arrow DC comics, has a real comic book feel to it. Starling City reminds me a lot of Gotham with Oliver Queen as a much MUCH hotter Bruce Wayne. The intro says it all.

If you haven’t indulged yet, season 1 is available on Netflix and season 2 just aired the mid-season finale this week and is currently available on Hulu.  Trust me, you won’t be sorry you watched.

FUN FACT!  Stephen live tweeted the recent season 9 Supernatural mid-season finale with the hashtag #SupernatArrow with the hopes that his buddy Jarpad would one day do the same. Aww, besties!
