Throwback Thursday: Jensen Ackles on “Days of Our Lives”

Oh Jensen, even before you were a Winchester, you knew how to brood perfectly.

If you need to see it to believe it, here is the proof that before he was Dean Winchester, Jensen Ackles was Eric Brady on the long-running soap opera Days of Our Lives. Oh yes, my Supernatural fans, I bet you didn’t know you needed to see this until now.

Yes, baby Jensen began a stint on D.O.O.L. back in 1998, and that’s when I first fell in ~~lust~~ love with him. Don’t let the soap opera stint confuse you, though; the boy still had some serious acting chops. Baby J was nominated for three consecutive Emmy’s between 1998 and 2000, which incidentally was the only three years he was on the daytime drama.

Nowadays, Jensen’s all grown up and ganking demons, but let us never forget that’s late 90s hair. Or the awfulness of this shirt.

The past fifteen years have done nothing but improve Mr. Hot-pants-Ackles, and can we just take a moment to thank Chuck for that?
